Carousel 03:35
words sung; lines thought my satisfaction; imprisonment. books read; tears shed the fictional deaths stick with my head. black or white keys; left or right technique quavers or chords. restless; anxious my expectations and my standards sleepless nights and bloodshot eyes; broken strings and dinted lids; i just wanna ride on a carousel then i'll be fine or sing a song to a lonely soul who needs some light just like mine we will find ourselves in the midst of what we don't know we will learn the most in the moments when we're uncomfortable but it's not fair you once did say the sun will set but i will stay i've got so many thoughts, it's no coincidence that i will push myself further than i should but i want what i want. even if i lose control i will stand strong even though it will never be enough

walking down the street i have the light on my left, above and to my right singing kids facing the sky weeping willows and hanson singing out favourite songs only comes once and if you're lucky you'll surround with love but if you're stubborn or confused or frightened i'd agree to say that feeling nothing is still something worth being cause i'm sure that bukowski at some point did love living be the ignorant! be the free! what happened between the age of 13 and 19 - well thats something i find hard to explain were poisoned by the thought that being a child wasn't great fed by lights and screens and pictures that could never be once the ignorant, once the free all your thoughts and all your dreams aren't as close as they seem all your plans of starting something are all incomplete but i woke up and ran out the house and i looked up and fell to my knees and i screamed cause you can't tell me what i can't be and you can't tell me that what i see can't be real cause we started something while you're alone judging what i should have been well fuck you for thinking that just for a second i would lower myself

about

"Carousel / Be The Ignorant! Be The Free!" are two songs that are the products of 6 months of tireless work and experimentation. These new songs contrast greatly with our debut EP, "Find Structure Through The Chaos" in a more approachable and exciting way.

The songs will begin as a digital only release, (pay what you want), with the hopes of eventually being able to release these new tracks on a vinyl, with the debut EP too.

We are so proud of these songs, and we can only hope that you become just as excited about these songs as we are.

Love,

The Great Imposter
