Rachel Rose Mitchell It's like Panic! At The Disco meets Amanda Palmer with a really powerful vocalist. Awesome combination! Favorite track: Elastic.

Jennifer Shields Fantastic blend of emotive piano-smashing a la Palmer and wonderfully toned melodies. Favorite track: Elastic.

Waiting Game 05:41
can you follow through and keep your word? or am i your fool? can't you see i'm in no state to survive with my thoughts can i see myself in 10 or 15 years and run? this waiting game leads me astray leads me to beg for control i don't know where this is going i will try to stay on track but am i coming or going? coming or going? words will always be the last thing i think before this old head clears itself enough to see they were wrong lead me in the right direction i will try to stay on track but am i coming or going? coming or going? lights and sounds hide me from pity reassurance is so dull so now i'm coming and going hiding and fighting self loathing keeps problems from sticking SO i'll run to avoid question in hand for attention love and affection

i will call you up now and again just to act like a friend and i will tell you all of the things that keep me from sleeping these chords they really make no sense and my hands they are dead but i will strike these chords with no regret i won't forget; i won't forget so i sing to myself for 23 hours a day, just to keep me sane because whether i'm out on the streets or with my friends, i don't want to seem dead no no no no no no no no no no just vague but if you wanna call me up and tell me all the things that fucked me up i will gladly listen in, following through with sin i'm following through with this the days of you leading my life are gone cause i can go in and out of time if thats what i want cause it's so much smarter and simpler to please myself and put myself in front so gone are the days of me trying to keep you sane to get you to look at the world in a different way to get you to feel something other than this obvious and pointless pain

Elastic 06:10
smells; incense; a candle burning chemicals mask your room it's happening too soon blood red thighs; more like rolling eyes; a painted smile that won't be found anytime soon you say "i've found it", no you've just lost it and now you'll cop it right where it hurts the most you say "he's ok, and he's for always" and you know it yeah you know it do you? his hearts elastic; your heart is plastic his hips are hoping; your head is broken and it's all fine watching it from the edge until your pulled in in his final moments you will howl and cry for all the time lost your STUPID THOUGH PROCESS once you say the words it's heard HIS FIRST YOU'RE THIRD but it never really mattered photos of hollie and michael are lovely but their love is hardly co-incidental and wondering and thinking well thats just fine until you ask, "where's mine?" SHE CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER SINGLE SECOND grey hairs, wrinkles, and moles are starting to form with no-one to tell her CONFIDING HER LONELINESS TO HER MOTHER resulted in the abuse of cheap red wine and the thought; "NO-ONE WILL HOLD ME WHEN I DIE"
5.
Fallout 03:41
pick up a drink, stare at the lights, follow your friends, say that you're fine and expect no consequence because you are un-touchable i'll confront the problems you've left behind i'll pick up the pieces and i'll rise calling forth your best shot hit me when my eyes are on the ground and tell me this is all part of your fallout i'll call you up, even though i already know all of your thoughts i'm holding onto the notion you'll wake up feeling better and move on, and live life, without this tinge of sadness that i cannot seem to handle anymore i'm calling forth your best shot i'll pick you up when your heads on the ground but don't tell me this is all part of your fallout you are young and you are stupid just like us life has only just begun you'll look back at the chapter of your life and you'll realise the place you held it in your head was a lie calling forth your best shot don't fall head first in that hole again be proud knowing soon you'll sing your song of redemption

about

Debut EP titled "Find Structure Through The Chaos", from Melbourne based Cabaret Rock band, The Great Imposter.

"Find Structure Through the Chaos could best be described as a strange, sinister dinner party, where guests don top hats and capes, and dine on caviar, grapes and red wine, while a monkey plays the piano-accordion in the corner. The EP is appealing in the way that it is completely unique from what is currently out there, and for a group who only formed last year, this is something." - LIP MAGAZINE
